The MHERO 917 Dragon Armor Edition, the derivative model of the MHERO 917 by Dongfeng's MHERO Technology, has been on sale since June 17th at a pre-sale price range of 768,000-868,000 yuan.

The Military-Inspired MHERO 917 Dragon Armor Edition

The MHERO 917 Dragon Armor Edition off-road SUV has a strong military vehicle heritage. The vehicle has got roofs that looks like shields utilized in wars, wheel hubs that bear colors of military weapons and door sills painted in military shades. Additionally, this new car comes with the military painting as its standard feature.

Military Aesthetics Meets Luxury

The interior materials has been up scaled too, with Nappa leather seats and suede ceiling being standard while interior wood trim changed to carbon fiber.

Resilient Power and Design

MHERO 917 Dragon Armor Edition is equipped with a range extended power system as its drive train and has a maximum horsepower of 816.

Again, MHERO 917 Dragon Armor Edition employs split front and rear bumper design so as to tackle difficult off-road environments; upper bumper made from carbon fiber material to reduce vehicle weight and enhance aesthetics, while lower bumper plus side bars composed of high strength carbon steel that delivers more robust protection; moreover lightweight off-road anti-collision guards further improve vehicle frontal protection capability.

In fact, in a forthcoming movie called: Operation Leviathan (Chinese: 蛟龙行动), this particular edition of MHERO 917 Dragon Armor is going to play the role of an important prop car.
