Neta's Stellar Performance in H1 2024 Overseas Sales
It is announced by Neta official, a Chinese start-up NEV carmaker, that its overseas sales in H1 2024 reached 17,687 cars. This impressive performance has made Neta the leading brand among new NEV start-ups in China on the respect of overseas sales.
According to Neta’s parent company Hozon New Energy’s application for listing at HK Stock Exchange in Late June, Neta exported over 20,000 vehicles abroad, achieving an overseas earnings of CNY 1.62bn.
Strategic Focus on ASEAN
By implementing its “deepen ASEAN” overseas strategy, Neta seems going well. The 17,687 cars sold abroad marking a 154% YOY increase, including both exported vehicles and locally produced.
Currently, Neta two factories in Thailand and Indonesia, with an annual capacity of 20,000 units and 27,000 units, respectively. Neta V and Neta V-II are available in both Thai market and Indonesian market. Besides, there are two factories under construction in Malaysia and Indonisia.
H1 2024 Sales Highlights
From the data released by AUTOLIFETHAILAND, Neta sold 3,600 cars, being the second best-selling NEV brand behind BYD in Thailand in the period of Jan-May.
Ambitious Goals for 2024
Earlier this year, Neta announced its sales target of 300,000 units, among which overseas sales targeted as 100,000 units. It seems that Neta only reached less than 20% of its whole year overseas target. Let’s see what happens in H2 2024 for Neta.
