The Luxeed S7 made a triumphant return at Huawei's HarmonyOS Eco Spring Conference today, led by Richard Yu, Huawei's automotive business head. More excitingly, Richard Yu confidently stated that the vehicle was ready for widespread distribution.

The Luxeed S7, which was debuted in November 2023, had its fair share of teething troubles, resulting in a slower supply rate that left customers wanting. To address this, the relaunched model features a revised production strategy as well as a significant price drop for the majority of versions.

The Luxeed S7 defines what smart mobility should look like in the future. It effectively combines Huawei's amazin technology with Chery's automotive expertise, resulting in a revolutionary sedan type that is set to transform the market.

While the beginning price for the base model remains RMB 249,800 ($34,520), other versions have witnessed a price cut of approximately RMB 20,000. Interestingly, this entry-level version has an improved battery with a capacity increase from 62 kWh to 82 kWh, expanding the CLTC range from 550 km to a whopping 705 km.

The luxury sedan is now available in five trim levels: Pro, Max, Max+, Max RS, and Ultra. Surprisingly, the Ultra model, a new addition to the roster, comes with an introductory price of RMB 349,800.

The Luxeed S7 is available in two variants: a single-motor version with a maximum power of 215 kW and a dual-motor version with an extra front motor with a maximum power of 150 kW, both powered by Huawei's "Whale" 800V high-voltage battery platform and Huawei ADS.

The top trims, Max RS and Ultra, are equipped with two motors and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.3 seconds. Not to mention that they include a full-featured Huawei ADS for advanced aided driving in the city.
