Voyah Zhiyin SUV Gains Ground with Strong Launch
Voyah, Dongfeng Group’s high-end new energy brand, launched the Voyah Zhiyin all-electric SUV (known as "COURAGE" in overseas markets) on October 13, at a starting price of 179,900 yuan. According to Voyah, Voyah Zhiyin, or Voyah Courage received over 8,000 orders on its first day of launch, and over 15,000 orders during the pre-sale.

Advanced Technology and Features
Voyah Zhiyin is an all-electric SUV designed for families. The official guide prices are ranging from 196,900 to 236,900 yuan, directly competing with Tesla Model Y. There are four trims available for sale, among which the long-range intelligent enjoyment model offers a reduced price of 179,900 yuan, with a limit of 3,000 units.
A core selling point of Voyah Zhiyin is its 800V high-voltage silicon carbide platform. Adopting 5C super-fast charging technology, the car can achieve an ultra-long range of 901km. Voyah Zhiyin is really taking safety serious. The car features a high-strength body, 2000MPa aluminum silicon coated door crash beams. Besides, the car is built under a 16-layer battery protection structure.
In terms of intelligence, Voyah Zhiyin comes standard with the 8295P chip and L2 autonomous driving assistant, which supporting high-level intelligent driving assistance on highways.
Overseas Expansion
It is reported that the brand is considering selling Voyah Zhiyin to overseas markets. The car has made its debut at the Turin International Auto Show in Italy this September. The global version may costs no less than 50,000 euros, (approximately 400,000 yuan). It is worth noting that the global version will just offer 400V platform only, due to the insufficient level of infrastructures in some region.
Competitive Market and High Expectations
At present, the 200,000 yuan segment of pure electric mid-size SUVs in China is crowded with competitors like Model Y, Zeekr 7X, NIO ONVO L60, AITO 07, IM Motors LS6, and so on. Voyah is full of confidence and has high hopes for Voyah Zhiyin. At the launch event of Voyah Zhiyin, You Zheng, Chairman of Voyah, told the media that Voyah achieved a sales volume of over 10,000 units in September, the company is aiming for this year's target of 100,000 units.
