The interior of the Xpeng G7 was recentl revealed in spy shots taken in China, as the car prepares for its market launch. The new model focuses on intelligence and spaciousness, with a length comparable to the G9 and a wheelbase matching the G6. The expected price of this car is around 250,000 RMB. The brand's previous Xpeng MONA M03 and Xpeng P7+ can undoubtedly be called a game-changer, so the launch of this car will also grab the attention of the masses.
Interior Design and Features
As can be seen in the spy photos, the interior of the new car differs from the Xpeng G6 and G9. It comes with a larger control screen compared to the G6 and omits the co-driver entertainment screen present in the G9. The instrument and the center control screen adopt floating design, so the overall design idea is similar to Xpeng P7+. Below the center control screen are two horizontal air conditioning vents, behind which is the phone charging panel.
In terms of details, the door opening mechanism uses electronic buttons, consistent with the P7+. The car is expected to have a flagship Qualcomm 8295P chip and an AI intelligent system.
Dimensions and Powertrain
The Xpeng G7 is a five-seat mid-size crossover with dimensions of 4892/1925/1655 mm. It is the Xpeng’s longest SUV. However, the G7 has a shorter wheelbase of 2890 mm compared to the 2998 mm of the G9. The Xpeng G7 has a single electric motor mounted in the rear axle with a peak power output of 218 kW (292 hp). The car is able to reach a maximum speed of 202 km/h.
