Xpeng Motors has announced the release of their new G6 580 Plus variant. The EV manufacturer has intentionally placed it at a competitive starting price of RMB 179,900, making it one of the most affordable options in its category.

This new variation is Xpeng's third price modification since the G6's release, with a considerable reduction from the original RMB 209,900. The improved valuation allows more consumers to gain access to essential smart driving technologies such as an 800V electric architecture and a robust intelligent driving assistance system, which are powered by Xpeng's sophisticated Fuyao architecture.

The G6 580 Plus model's lower price point represents a significant change toward mass-market acceptance of cutting-edge EV technologies, making it the market's first 800V EV with an advanced navigation-assisted autonomous driving system for around RMB 200,000.
