Zeekr 9X Debuts with 900V Architecture and 1,400 TOPS Compute

Zeekr unveiled its 9X "Super Hybrid" sedan at the 2025 Shanghai Auto Show, marking the world’s first mass-produced vehicle with a full-stack 900V high-voltage platform. The model packs a 6C-rated Xiaoyao battery and the Zeekr Vast H9 ADAS suite, enabling L3 autonomous capabilities via dual NVIDIA Thor chips and five lidar sensors. With 1,400 TOPS of processing power, the system claims industry-leading object recognition at 200-meter ranges. Deliveries for the China-market flagship begin in Q1 2026, though pricing remains undisclosed.  

Arcfox Alpha S5 Launches from RMB 119,800 (USD 16,400) with 5C Charging

Arcfox launched five variants of its revamped Alpha S5 electric sedan at the Shanghai show, priced between RMB 119,800 (USD 16,400) and RMB 169,800 (USD 23,300). Flagship 668 MAX Shenxing and 630 ULTRA Shenxing trims feature CATL's 5C Shenxing batteries, enabling 404 kW peak charging speeds—translating to roughly 1 km of range per second. The base 560 PRO offers a 560 km CLTC range, while the 708 MAX extends to 708 km.  

Li Auto L6 Surpasses 250,000 Deliveries in 12 Months

Li Auto announced on April 26 that cumulative deliveries of its L6 SUV exceeded 250,000 units since its April 2024 launch. As the brand’s most affordable model, the L6 Pro and Max trims start at RMB 249,800 (USD 34,200) and RMB 279,800 (USD 38,300), respectively, featuring standard dual-motor AWD and a 1.5T range-extender.

AITO M9 Secures 40,000 Orders in 27 Days with Enhanced Huawei ADS 3.3  

AITO’s 2025 M9 luxury SUV garnered over 40,000 confirmed orders within 27 days of its March 20 launch, priced from RMB 469,800 (USD 64,400). The updated model adds two short-range lidar sensors (side/rear) to its existing four-lidar array, boosting 360° detection for Huawei’s ADS 3.3 autonomous system. New features include spot-to-spot autonomous driving without pre-mapping, and external microphones to detect emergency vehicles and trigger evasion maneuvers.
