Geely Holding Aims for Top-Five Global Sales by 2030 with 6.5 Million Unit Target

Geely Holding Group CEO An Conghui announced on January 22 that the company targets global sales exceeding 6.5 million units (including commercial vehicles) by 2030, with annual revenue surpassing RMB 1 trillion (approximately USD 142.9 billion). This ambition positions Geely among the world's top-five automakers by volume. The plan entails new energy vehicles comprising about 75% of total sales, while overseas markets are expected to contribute over one-third. To achieve this, Geely will develop a global new energy architecture covering A to E-segment vehicles, aiming to reduce the average vehicle development cycle and comprehensive costs by over 30%. Separately, Gan Jiayue, CEO of Geely Auto Group, revealed plans to launch a new i-HEV intelligent hybrid system intended to outperform established Japanese hybrids, with four to five new models based on the technology slated for release this year.

GAC Group's GOVY AirCab Flying Car Garners Nearly 2,000 Pre-orders by End of 2025

GAC Group stated via social media platform on January 22 that its production-ready flying car, the GOVY AirCab, has secured close to 2,000 letters of intent since its debut. Demonstration units were delivered in Hong Kong and Beijing in July and October 2025, respectively.
