Leapmotor D19 Debuts with Dual Snapdragon 8797 Chips  

On October 16, Leapmotor unveiled its flagship D platform, introducing the platform's first model, the D19, in its global premiere. The vehicle becomes the industry's first to incorporate dual Qualcomm Snapdragon 8797 chips, delivering combined computing power of 1,280 TOPS. Integrated with the VLA World Model, the system enables seamless point-to-point navigation capabilities across all driving scenarios. The D19 will offer both extended-range and pure electric powertrains. The extended-range variant features an 80-kWh CATL battery providing 500 km pure electric range, while the pure electric version carries a 115-kWh battery enabling over 700 km range.

GAC Trumpchi M8 Master Launches with Limited-Time Price from RMB 249,900  

GAC Trumpchi introduced the M8 Master on October 16, with official guide pricing starting from RMB 269,900 and effective post-subsidy pricing from RMB 249,900 (approximately USD 35,200). The model employs the NVIDIA Orin-X chip delivering 254 TOPS computing power, supported by 27 high-precision sensors. Its 126-line variable-focus mid-to-long-range LiDAR achieves detection distances exceeding 200 meters. The M8 Master combines a 2.0T engine with a two-speed DHT plug-in hybrid system, generating comprehensive torque of 645 N·m while achieving energy consumption of 21 kWh/100km and fuel consumption of 6.05L/100km in charge-sustaining mode.

Dongfeng eπ launched both the 2026 Nano 01 and the 5-seat 2026 eπ 008 on October 16. The 2026 Nano 01 starts at a limited-time price of RMB 58,800 (approximately USD 8,300), while the 5-seat eπ 008 begins at RMB 159,900 (approximately USD 22,500). The updated Nano 01 receives over 280 improvements including a new "Sprite Green" color option. The 5-seat eπ 008 features a body exceeding 5 meters with a 3,025-mm wheelbase, offering cargo space expandable from 783L to 1,876L. It incorporates segment-exclusive second-row electric "magic carpet" seats that create a 0.8-square-meter rest area.

Xiaomi's intelligent driving team now exceeds 1,800 members, supporting the continuous development of the company's autonomous driving technologies.
