BYD Fang Cheng Bao Teases "Titanium 7" SUV with Boxy Silhouette and Lidar
BYD’s off-road arm FangChengBao teased its upcoming SUV model with a picture released on its official Weibo account. The image indicated the SUV with the name of "Titanium 7".
The image showed a long-bodied square box outlook, with an extended wheelbase, positioning it as a mid-to-full-size SUV, the largest among all models of FangChengBao.
Design and Features
The Titanium 7 inherits the rugged, futuristic family styling with the Bao 5 and Bao 8 models, featuring sharp character lines and a boxy profile. Spy shots also showed that the model may have a roof-mounted lidar, a steering-column gear selector, and an optional rear-mounted storage box, all of which signal advanced ADAS capabilities and utilitarian versatility.
Pricing and Positioning
Industry insiders project the price range of Titanium 7 would be between RMB 289,800 (USD 40,300) and RMB 423,800 (USD 58,900), slotting between the Bao 5 and Bao 8.
