Chery's Omoda, Jaecoo Brands to Enter Iraqi Market  


Chery Automobile and Saudi distributor Jameel Motors have signed an agreement authorizing Jameel to distribute Chery’s Omoda and Jaecoo brands in Iraq. Initial models include the Omoda C5 and C7 alongside Jaecoo J5, J7, and J8, with market entry scheduled for Q4 2025. All offerings feature conventional powertrains except the Jaecoo J7 plug-in hybrid.



AITO Shortens M8 Delivery Timeline to 5-7 Weeks  


AITO Automobile announced enhanced production efficiency following high-temperature technical upgrades at its manufacturing facility. Cumulative deliveries of the AITO M8 model surpassed 60,000 units by early August. New orders placed this month now carry an estimated 5-7 week delivery cycle, reduced from previous timelines. Customers confirming delivery plans for the M8 Extended-Range Edition before mid-August can receive vehicles prior to China's National Day holiday (October 1). The brand also confirmed plans to launch the pure-electric M8 variant in late August.



Lynk & Co 10 EM-P Opens Pre-sales from RMB 192,000

Lynk & Co initiated pre-sales for its 10 EM-P mid-to-large executive sedan, offering three variants priced between RMB 192,000 and RMB 222,000 (≈ USD 26,700 - USD 30,800). The model features standard LiDAR and NVIDIA's Thor computing platform, delivering 700 TOPS processing power to support the G-Pilot H7 ADAS solution. This enables over 30 intelligent driving functions, positioning Lynk & Co’s flagship sedan as a technology leader in the premium electrified segment.
