Dreame Auto Emerges with a Bold Hypercar Vision
Dreame Auto, an automotive subsidiary of Chinese consumer electronics firm Dreame Technology, announced some configurations of its inaugurate model with a concept picture of the model, which look similar to a Bugatti.
Dreame Technology announced its entry into auto manufacturing sector in late August. While just in three weeks, the compamy has made bold strategic movements such as establishing its automotive subsidiary, nailing-down its German manufacturing site, and finished its first round of funding. What kind of model is it going to build?
Cutting-Edge Configurations and Radical Performance
According to the official Weibo account of Dreame Auto, the company is aiming to create a vehicle which haven’t mass-produced ever. Take a look at some of the key elements of the up-coming Dreame car disclosed lately:

It seems that, Dreame Auto is creating a sports car with wild powertrain and high performance. Besides, the first model is aiming ultra-luxury electric segment positioned against the Bugatti Veyron, with an estimated price no less than RMB 1 million yuan. Scheduled for debut in 2027, there’s not much time left for Dreame Auto.

Leveraging Technology Expertise for Automotive Innovation
Dearme underscored that its car making strategy is a long-term commitment, following the mode of R&D in China, manufacturing in Germany, and selling worldwide.
From technology side, Dearme will leveraging its deep know-how in high-speed digital motors, AI algorithms, and robotic sensing-and-control domains, to migrate and upgrade into automotive e-drive systems, intelligent cockpits, and autonomous-driving stacks.
According to various media sources, the company is going to partner with BNP Paribas for fund raise, thus, to support its global market expansion. The smart choice of manufacturing site in Germany, led it to the manufacturing expertise.
Challenges Ahead in Ultra-Luxury EV Market
Though Dearme’s strategy is good, it faces unprecedented challenges in the ultra-luxury segment, such as capital raising, auto-making talents recruitment, as well as supply chains.
