Geely Galaxy A7 Launches at RMB 81,800 with 2,100km Hybrid Range  

 

Geely has debuted the Galaxy A7 plug-in hybrid sedan in seven variants with limited-time pricing from RMB 81,800 to 117,800 (≈USD 11,400–16,400). As the inaugural model on Geely's Global Electric Architecture (GEA), it pioneers the Thor AI Hybrid 2.0 powertrain and Flyme Auto cockpit. Certified figures confirm 2.67L/100km charge-sustaining fuel consumption under CLTC conditions, with total range exceeding 2,100km and pure-electric range reaching 150km.  



China Captures 68.3% of Global NEV Market Share in H1 2025  

 

CPCA data confirms China held 68.3% of worldwide new energy passenger vehicle sales during H1 2025, peaking at 70.4% in June—a 3-percentage-point YoY increase. The country dominated plug-in hybrid (PHEV) segments with 76% global share while securing 64.5% of battery electric vehicle (BEV) markets.


Leapmotor Partners with Grimaldi to Accelerate European Exports  

 

Leapmotor and Italian RoRo shipping giant Grimaldi Group have commissioned the "GRANDE TIANJIN" vehicle carrier, departing Shanghai with over 2,500 Leapmotor EVs bound for Mediterranean ports. The vessel—dedicated exclusively to Leapmotor shipments — offers a peak capacity for 22,500 vehicles. This collaboration establishes monthly sailings to strengthen Leapmotor's European distribution.
