Recently, Lynk & Co launched its 6-seat flagship PHEV SUV, the 900 model. The 900 offer four trims: 1.5 T Halo, 1.5T Ultra, 2.0 T Ultra, and 2.0 T Explore, with prices ranging from RMB 289,900 (USD 40,000) to RMB 396,900 (USD 4,800).
Rivaling with Li Auto L9 (from RMB 4900,800/USD 56,600) and AITO M9 (from RMB 469,800/USD
64,900), the 900 features a lower prices, superior cabin space, and all trims with standard ADAS configuration.
Safety: Redefining Structural Integrity
The 900 is built on SPA Evo architecture, so that it buils a strong structure:
- The body contains 33.46% hot-formed steel (vs. L9’s 28.9%)
- The A/B pillars and sills are armed with 2,000 MPa boron steel.
- The body side adopts "hot-formed mono-side ring" tech, achieving 100% coverage of hot-formed steel, increased the anti-lateral impact capability by 40%, compared with traditional welding
structure.
- The car is also armed with rear head/thorax airbags and a 2,550mm long side curtain airbag, reducing head injury risks by 70%.
Chassis: Dual-Chamber Air Suspension Meets Tank Turn
In order to enhance car control, faster turning speed, and a better vibration filtering effect, the 900 pairs dual-wishbone front, multi-link rear suspensions, with dual-chamber air springs, and CDC adaptive dampers.
Besides, its tri-motor system, rear-wheel steering tech, and vector maneuvering technology, the car is capable of performing ‘tank turn’ maneuvers, ‘waltz turn’, and ‘crab walk’ modes.
Interior: Executive-Class Amenities
The 900 offers individual seats. In the second row, the seats have ventilation/heating/massage function, as well as a 550 mm sliding range. While tthe third row seats are able to recline 155° with 125 mm adjustability, giving the passengers a comfortable drive.
Except for the entry-level trim, other higher-lever trims are equipped with:
- 30-inch 6K ceiling-mounted screen
- 9L compressor fridge
- Harman Kardon 31-speaker audio
