SAIC H5 Pre-sales Start from RMB 169,800  

On August 25, Huawei Executive Director and Consumer BG Chairman Richard Yu announced SAIC H5 pre-sales commencing at RMB 169,800 (≈ USD 23,600), with market launch scheduled for September 23. Additionally, the Luxeed S9T sedan and refreshed AITO M7 SUV will debut on September 16 and September 23 respectively.



CPCA Branch: NEV L2+ ADAS Penetration Reaches 82.6% in H1 2025  


The China Passenger Car Association (CPCA) reported 82.6% of new energy passenger vehicles sold January-June 2025 were equipped with L2+ autonomous driving functions. The sub-RMB 160,000 segment showed particularly rapid adoption growth, reflecting accelerated democratization of intelligent driving technologies across price segments amid intensified market competition and consumer demand enhancement.



Wuling Bingo S Starts Pre-sales from RMB 68,800  


Wuling unveiled the Bingo S compact electric SUV with pre-sales priced from RMB 68,800 to RMB 81,800 (≈ USD 9,600 - USD 11,400) on August 24. The model offers 25 storage compartments including magic hooks and integrated door handle storage, with rear seat folding expanding cargo capacity to 1,450L. Powertrain options feature a 75kW motor paired with 31.9kWh or 41.9kWh LFP batteries delivering 325km or 430km CLTC range respectively.



Geely Galaxy M9 Launches at RMB 193,800  


Geely Galaxy announced global pre-sales for its first AI-powered six-seat flagship SUV, the Galaxy M9, with six variants priced from RMB 193,800 to RMB 258,800 (≈ USD 26,900 - USD 35,900) on August 23 . Based on the GEA architecture, the model utilizes Geely's Full-Scene AI technology featuring flagship design, spaciousness, and safety alongside AI cockpit, digital chassis, and advanced driver-assistance systems.



Huawei's Jin Yuzhi: ADS 4 and Harmony Space5 OTA Rollout Begins September  


Huawei Smart Car Solutions BU CEO Jin Yuzhi announced the phased OTA deployment of Huawei ADS 4 and Harmony Space5 starting September on August 23. The Qiankun-powered technologies represent Huawei's rapid advancement in intelligent vehicle systems. He noted China's ADAS penetration reached 50% within five years, accelerating the transition to autonomous driving.



Voyah Debuts "Lanhai Intelligent Hybrid" Technology, Three Models to Feature System in 2025  


Voyah Auto unveiled its fully self-developed Lanhai Intelligent Hybrid System, built on an 800V silicon carbide high-voltage architecture. The technology achieves multiple breakthroughs: 360-410km CLTC pure-electric range, over 1,400km comprehensive range, and 5C ultra-fast charging enabling 20-80% battery replenishment in 12 minutes. Voyah confirmed three 2025 models will feature the system – the 2026 Voyah Dreamer MPV, Voyah Free L SUV, and an all-new flagship six-seat SUV – with immediate production availability upon release.
