Zeekr 9X Secures 42,667 Orders Within One Hour of Pre-sale Launch  


Zeekr's new 9X model achieved 42,667 pre-orders within one hour of opening sales on August 29. Displayed at Chengdu Auto Show in Max, Ultra, and Hyper variants with pre-sale prices from RMB 479,900 (≈ USD 66,700), it is the first model on the luxury-focused SEA-S hybrid architecture. The vehicle debuts Zeekr's G-Pilot H9 ADAS with L3 autonomous capability, leveraging theSEA-S platform for advanced electrified performance.



Next-Gen IM LS6 Debuts at Chengdu Auto Show with 48,000 Pre-orders  


IM Motors unveiled the next-generation LS6 at the 2025 Chengdu International Auto Show, with pre-sale prices ranging from RMB 209,900 to RMB 279,900 (≈ USD 29,200 - USD 38,900). The model has garnered over 48,000 pre-orders. Its "Stellar" super-range extension system delivers a segment-leading 450km CLTC pure-electric range and 1,502km comprehensive range. The 800V ultra-fast charging platform enables 310km range replenishment in 15 minutes. IM also previewed its flagship six-seat SUV, the LS9, featuring a high-performance "Stellar" system, next-generation Lizard Digital Chassis, and industry-first 4D mechanical massage seats.



2025 Chengdu Auto Show Opens with Expanded Scale  


On August 29, the 28th Chengdu International Auto Show commenced with exhibition space expanded to 220,000 square meters. Nearly 120 automotive brands are participating, displaying over 1,600 vehicles. Domestic Chinese brands, such as BYD, Chery, and Changan notably dominate entire exhibition halls, forming one of the event's primary highlights amid intensified competition in the world's largest auto market.



Changan Hunter K50 Launches from RMB 127,900 with 30kW External Discharge  


On August 29, Changan Automobile launched the Hunter K50 pickup with six variants starting at RMB 127,900 (≈ USD 17,800). Key upgrades include a 30kW external discharge system (enhanced from 22kW) supporting simultaneous drone battery charging and expanded device compatibility. The model combines fuel and electric power with extended range, strong performance, and high efficiency. Its intelligent E-AWD delivers 5,000Nm wheel-end torque, accelerating 0-100km/h in 7.9 seconds with 0.4s initial response time.
